Bus Routes

Parkside Intermediate School is served by SamTrans bus lines. The 140 and 141 lines drop off and pick up students on a daily basis. The ability to ride SamTrans is a privilege and can be revoked due to disciplinary issues as determined by the school administration, individual drivers or the route supervisors.

Students who wish to ride SamTrans may purchase monthly bus passes in the Parkside main office. SamTrans will only accept checks or money orders. Check with the main office for pricing.

Our School

Welcome to Parkside Intermediate School, home of the Panthers. Our school serves 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students in the San Bruno Park School District. Approximately 850 students attend Parkside on a daily basis participating in a variety of rigorous learning activities and elective programs. The student body of Parkside reflects the diverse ethnic and socio-economic population of the San Bruno community. The staff at Parkside works diligently to create an equitable learning environment that is respectful of all students to maximize their learning potential. The staff and community stakeholders at Parkside believe every child will thrive in a safe and supportive environment while becoming active members of our school community.

Just like at elementary school, Parkside needs parents and family volunteers to assist in the operations of the overall program. There are a multitude of opportunities for parents and families including joining the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), assisting with the Parkside Fireworks Booth, Hospitality, the Parkside Book Fair, Eighth Grade Graduation, School Site Council (SSC), the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), Music Boosters, and Yard Duty.

We welcome your presence and involvement as we work towards educating and teaching our students. Please contact our main office for information regarding volunteer opportunities at (650) 624-3180.
